Accessibility Statement

CNRS is committed to making its websites, intranet, extranet, and software applications (as well as its mobile applications and digital urban furniture) accessible in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.

To this end, CNRS implements the following strategy and actions:

  • No multi-year accessibility plan
  • No action plan for the current year

This accessibility statement applies to Alien Occicat (https://alien-occicat.fr/).

Compliance Status

Alien Occicat is partially compliant with the General Accessibility Improvement Reference (RGAA).

Test Results

The compliance audit conducted by Agence Identity reveals that 96% of the RGAA version 4.1.2 criteria are met.

Non-Accessible Content

Non-Compliance Issues

  • Presence of a title attribute on decorative images:
The SVG “Shape” elements (footer), the icons on the Definitions page (title="Visual – ..."), and the Contribute page contain a title attribute. RGAA Test 1.2.1 requires that decorative images have an empty alt="" attribute and no other alternative attributes.
Solution: Remove the title attribute from these images and ensure they retain an alt="". If the theme or WordPress prevents the removal of the title, add aria-hidden="true".
  • Lack of two different navigation systems:
No site map or search engine is present in the header or footer; only the menu is available. The specific case (very few pages, all accessible from the homepage) seems difficult to invoke, as not all news articles are accessible from the homepage.
Solution: Add a “Site Map” page linked from the footer (or a search engine).

Disproportionate Burden Exemptions

None.

Content Not Subject to Accessibility Obligations

None.
